I am stunned but not at all surprised.

I'm not the least bit surprised by this, don't like corporate names but at least some (Comerica, Ford) sound good, this reminds me of the Smoothie King Center (New Orleans) or Sleep Train Arena (Sacramento), just cheesy as hell no pun intended.

I am predicting we will call this the LCA to shorten it, although I would love if people called it the Pizza Box or something.

It's ridiculous. This is actually pretty insulting as to how unclever and self-serving the name is. Isn't it enough that there are Little Caesars signs and products all over the damn arena already?

This shouldn't bother me this much, but it does.

It bothers me no more or less than any other stadium or arena that takes the name of a sponsor.

It was arch rival Domino's that had the 30 minutes or free guarantee.

It was stopped because young people were getting killed driving recklessly to meet the 30 minute deadline.

At one point there were more automotive deaths due to delivery than there were to drinking.

Instead of taking money to sell the name to somebody else, they're just going to own the value of the sponsorship themselves.

Makes perfect sense.

I'd rather they just call it "Illitch Arena" than "Little Caesars Arena". At least Joe Louis Arena was a tribute to a phenomenal athlete and icon. We go from Joe Louis to a pizza box. Stupid.
