I haven't seen much chatter on this board about firing Joyner. What is the difference between Joyner and McClendon. Right now, I'd take Lloyd as the hitting coach. Although, does it really matter.

Rod doesn't call Wally legendary 50 times a night so we tend to not think about him much..we did start to discuss it in last nights game thread, is it time to start fireing people? The offense is in shambles to some extent doesn't the hitting coaches methods and work with the hitters need to be examined whatever hose methods may be

It is the team that DD put together along with the injuries to Avila and Vmart. Yes, a hitting coach is important, as well as any coach, but the MLB level they can only identify mechanical defects that need to be addressed.

maybe he could focus more on seeing if he can get some of these guys to recognize pitches better and just lay off pitchers pitches more. i'm talking JD, Ceps, Nic primarily, they expand the zone way too much and pitchers know it. my guess is they aren't able to pick up pitches well at all, they just swing and hope it's over the plate and they guessed right.

Bottom line we all bitched about Leyland and McClendon. Even I bitched about them they were better than the crew we have now.

And Donnie Kelly. I'm a "careful what you wish for" person...and now we have Brad, Wally and Hernan Perez to replace those 3 guys.
