His contract was up so technically he resigned, due to philosophical differences in O strategy.

After two seasons of Cutler running for his life my Bears friends finally agree with me. Now they want Marinelli and Lovie gone too. Thats what happens when you sign two coaches from an 0-16 team...

Yea is the phone gonna stop ringing for him. I cant see him being in high demand.

I think the only way you can bring Martz in, is if your team doesn't have much offense and has no solution at QB.

Say the Broncos say bye bye to Tebow, could see Martz there. They would be drafting a QB then, someone Martz could train from the get-go.

Rumors are that he's going to be moving to the college level. I could see him having a lot of success there actually.

Funny Fact: Martz was a Tight End in college according to wikipedia. Must have gotten sick of the position by the time he became a coach haha

He would be good in college because for the most part the secondaries are less able to keep up with the wrs and the qb gets more time to throw. could be a great move depending on where he goes. He would suck as a recruiter though. His personality is really off putting if you have ever seen him in an interview.

Come to think of it he does seem like a better fit for a college team

He can screw up those future prospects before they get to the NFL.

Mmmm...too bad Martz likely won't be hired by the underachieving Jets to work with their Sanchise...lol.

Marinelli is actually a decent D coordinator, I hate to admit it. Not much you can do when your offense can't stay on the field the last 5 games...there's no way he goes...
