Doesn't sound like this is a big deal, but I thought I'd post it here to hopefully head off any rumors that might start.

There's a court case involving Marvin...

Here's the explanation from Scout...

This IS Marvin. We hadn't heard anything because he's not in any trouble with the team, not suspended, etc.

We're told:

It's a misunderstanding more involving a roommate as the person who caused this.... but as soon as the misunderstanding was understood the item was returned ... it was a surprise (just realized a few days ago) that it's in the court system except that there was an initial police report filed by the offended party when the item turned up missing.

There is no "house invasion" -- it's a dorm room thing.

Marvin has a completely clean record so nothing much-if-anything should come of it.

And he is under no team discipline.... (there has been a redshirt plan due to his injuries).

As this moves along, we'll let you know ...

the freep reported it today. Hoke had no comment other than they were aware of the charges.

now, see if he was a buckeye he wouldn't even need to go take an xBox out of some nerd's dorm; that's because he'd just swipe a pair of Nike's from the equipment room and go sell them to a local drug dealer for some cash!
