If Rivers is so much better.....why was he 18-30 the last three years with defenses that were statistically better in 2 of those three years (2015 & 2017).

Allen, Gordon, Williams, Hunter Henry all injured.

Mike McCoy was their coach...whos could be the 1 person worse at coaching offense than JBC.

I subscribe to the idea of always drafting a QB every 2 to 3 years and letting him sit behind your starter. No other position in football can pay off in a trade like a QB with potential.

Consider it a late round lottery ticket. Minimal risk really.
