McQueary

as far as the witness thing goes... they can subpoena him and he has to testify. doesn't matter if he's employed by Penn St or not.

What if ........State College native McQueary himself was victimized by Sandusky?

Another theory is that PSU has some control over what he says to the media if he's still employed by them. If he's fired, he can yap all he wants and add fodder to any civil suits coming against them... Heard this on sports radio but it could be a factor as well.

his career is over. Any hope he had at a coaching career are now dead. How on earth could another school ever hire him. This scandal and what he should have done or didnt do will always hang over him.

He should be charged as an accessory since all he did was walk away and didn't report anything until the next day. Walking away from a crime of that nature makes you as guilty as the person doing the act IMO. There are many on the ESPN PSU board who want him gone...to which I've gladly added fuel to that fire. That guy is pretty low for not stepping up and protecting the kid by taking out Sandusky or at a minimum calling the police immediately. For starters, all the evidence on the scene is long gone all because he failed to do what 99.999% of society, male and female, would have done in that situation.

That's the one thing I'm not sure about. Did McQuery tell Paterno the next day or did he tell him the same day and Paterno waited a day? I've heard conflicting reports.
