Lets not all start this already....we don't need to bring in EVERYONE that gets cut. The guy is 32.....we need a long term answer in the secondary.....not another one year fix.

I don't think he runs it well enough for what Kelly seems to like.

Seems like Vick would be the perfect fit for his offense. Well, for the 4 or 5 games he survives at least.

Fuck....just.....fuck. Well, as has been pointed out....NO WAY we can fill every hole with one draft/free agency period. If we get a couple talented band aids for the right price then I'm good with that.

However, guys like Wilson should be the WORST of the FA we target.

ESPN's draft guru Mel Kiper has dropped his latest mock draft on us and in this one, he's got zero QBs going in the first round. I would say that's highly unlikely to happen in reality, but the coiffed one has spoken and so we all want to know what he has said...
For the Eagles, his pick is unchanged from his initial mock draft. He's got them taking Alabama CB Dee Milliner.
"I noted in the previous mock that on a per-play basis, rookie Brandon Boykin might have been the best player in the Eagles secondary toward the end of the season. The Eagles could see a number of personnel changes with the new regime, but they can't afford to fall off significantly in the secondary in a division with Eli Manning, Robert Griffin III and Tony Romo. You might expect Chip Kelly to score points, but he's always put a great emphasis on his defense too. Milliner has elite grades in terms of awareness and ball skills, and he's a physical corner who can push wideouts off routes. And he can flat-out tackle."

It's not that they're good at what they do as much as their names ring out. Oh.. And Mel's hair.

There's a guy who year after year is the best mocker but I can't remember his name. Slick should know.

You have to remember just because a guy has someone pegged to go in the top 5, doesn't mean they believe the guy is a top 5 prospect.

none of the draft niks have ever said Milliner was a "speed" CB....he runs a 4.47...he's a physical zone CB who has a ball hawk mentality....so for Kiper to rail on him because he isn't a 4.3 guy is just bogus...sure he maybe a little overvalued as a top 5 guy but because he's the top guy at his position coming out and the program he played at he's going to get top 5 love....as you see in both McShay and Kipers mocks.

but to bag on him for not being "a speed" CB just makes Kiper look foolish.
