It seems like everyone is really downplaying Michigan's out-of-conference play. Although when you look at the teams they played they actually look pretty decent.

I mean Notre Dame crushed MSU. WMU almost beat Ill and SDSU although not a great team is no powder puff.

If Denard can work out his mechanics and U of M establishes a passing attack, the Big Ten will have to watch out.
 
We have played a tougher schedule than most of the B10. MSU has yet to beat a team that has beaten a D1 school. I do think MSU has more talent right now then we do but I like hoe our kids have played so far and the adjustments we have made every game.
 
Yeah it is a tad frustrating because going in SDSU was this pretty good team now they are just another scrub Michigan played.. I know scores should not mean much but Illinois barely beat WMU. MSU has not played anyone except the team that crushed them. Wisconsin has played garbage. It gets pretty old... But now that Minnesota has gagged to damn North Dakota St at home 37-24 we cannot not afford to lay a egg verses them next week... Heck Northwestern lost to Army.... I will be pissed if we do not play good the next two games verses Minnesota and Northwestern. They better get that damn passing game fixed..
 
Well, I know we haven't really played NC contenders and we have home games, but U of M was picked to lose to ND and I saw picks saying we would lose to SDSU.

Now after we beat them, they are inferior teams that are scrubs? I don't understand it at all. With the D improving and corrections being made in almost all parts of the game, I really hope the passing game gets fixed. If it does...Michigan could be a very scary team to play.

I can only hope that this team doesn't crash as it has in the past two years and get blown out in B1G play. Honestly, it is just one game at a time.
 
Really, I can't see them doing worse than 4-4 in big 10 play, which is a huge improvement on years past. Its not great, but it would put them right at that 8 win mark that most of us predicted. Hopefully, they can outdo that. We'll see...
