We're 0-1 vs. Oklahoma. Also, 2025 sounds like the time where futuristic sci-fi tech is available because I am old.

This is how I plan to get to the Michigan-Oklahoma game:

doubtful these games are even played.

as news stories continue to document the amount of former football players reduced to drooling vegetable status by age 40, it will be impossible to find at least 22 able-bodied young adults at any given University willing to consent to suffering crushing lifelong brain damage for the enjoyment and profit of others.

That's a great graph and all, but my science is greater.

You see Michigan went on a national title drought of 49 years from 1948-1997. All indications are that Michigan is on the same path again and will win another national championship in 2046. My science is great. Boom goes the dynamite.

I actually tried a little data processing to see if I could identify any kind of statistical pattern. Apparently, there's a hint of an ~8-year cycle in there, but it's really weak. What I need is other data sets that go all the way back so I can look for correlations...and then I need to really dedicate myself to screwing around instead of working this afternoon.

Haha. Nice. I just go the pessimistic sarcasm route when predicting Michigan football championships.

Road trip ML!!!. Me and you! Just like judgement day in 97, even if we have to scooter on in there ;)

Whoa baby! I can't wait! When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets will be on sale the summer of 2025. Victor Pricing seats will be $775 each and Endzone Pricing seats will be $650 each.

Every game is the Super Bowl and pricing should match that!!!

in light of all the conference shuffling and the impact that has on scheduling, I wonder what kind of outs each team has in the contract for these games?

Nolan Bushnell told a room full of fancy pants in Beverly Hills that folks in the room who are 40yrs old or younger have a very good chance of living to 100yrs and folks at 30yrs old could easily see 110yrs old. This remark was based on the advances in medicine and specifically related to nanotechnology and syringe-injected robots that navigate the blood stream, etc.

Part of me at 41yrs was encouraged by the remarks but part of me wants to check out some time before that - given the direction we seem to be headed, none of us may be around that long.

I thought about this when I first saw it as well. I saw 2025-2026 and thought hell they won't even play these games. Some "scheduling conflict" will come up 6 years before the games are supposed to be played.

I'm in the same boat with you on this. I'm 31 and I can't imagine living another 89 years. It's pretty cool that science is helping make that possible, but with the overpopulation of the planet, I'm not so sure it is a good thing.

who will win a big ten title first, Michigan or Oklahoma?
