Michigan Softball NCAA Regional Update

That’s a good point-this power hitter hasn’t seen our relief pitcher. Of course I know both their names and I’m voice recognition texting and their games are difficult to say. That said Michigan wins woo hoo!

Should at least be able to host a regional for this.

WoooooHoooooo! Got it done! BIG 10 Season Champs and tourney Champs! Hail to the Victors Valiant!

Still don't understand why Michigan was not the home team. How was that decided? Minny was the #3 seed, Michigan was the #1 seed. And Minny is the home team in the final? ML would know.

Apparently seeding doesn?t matter regarding who gets home and who gets away.

Michigan was the road team because Minny had been the road team in the semis. Had both teams been home or road in the semis then it would go by seed.

I am really proud of Storako. She had a rough inning in the semis and instead of letting that get to her she went into the championship game and saved the team. She didnt let the semi get to her.

This freshman class has done an amazing job this year. We needed a #2 starter and Staroko finished the year 2nd team all B10. We needed a hitter in the moddle of the lineup and Lexie Blair ended up with the highest batting average ever for a freshman at Michigan.

Thanks for the info on the home team I agree Staroko reall6 shook off her semifinals performance and was fantastic in the final.

So our ladies did earn the right to host a regional; play Saint Francis Friday, May 17, 4:30 PM Eastern.

DePaul and James Madison are the other participants in the regional.

Michigan lost to a James Madison on March 7th in Tempe Arizona 3-0 early in the season.

Those McKee twins on Saint Francis got that naughty librarian thing going on.

Damn I miss college.

Girls getting some help by poor St Francis fielding . Michigan will take it and now leads
4-0 heading to top of the fourth. Bottom of the 4th 4-0 Michigan.

Softball up 4-0 heading to bottom of the 5th. Looks like a rain delay coming .

Clutch two out hitting plates a run. Michigan hit the ball well all half inning but great outfield catches leaves score at 5-0.
