Michigan vs PSU

Yep. Matthews and Simpson are both tough, so I imagine Simpson is pissed as well. They'll be pushing everyone hard this week.

Poole needs to get it together. His shot selection has been terrible for way too long now. Past 10 games he's shooting 33.8% overall and 26.9% from 3. Averaging 2.1 TOVs and only 1.7 APG.

If he gets even close to being back to the 10 games prior where he was great, then our ceiling goes back to national championship level.

Poole concerns me .. he plays so out of control sometimes. Plus he should keep driving to the basket when his outside shot is not falling He still scored 17 last night on 7-16 shooting . But he was 1 for 8 from three and like you mentioned he was taking mostly terrible long distance threes. So he was 6 for 8 either driving to the rack of shorter shots. He just falls in love with trying to do so much I guess .

I love this team.

perfect time in the season to mess up a bit ...they're good and coached very well. let some of these M losses be red herrings for the haters.

GO BLUE!!!

The team sure is fun when they are hitting on all cylinders but I wish they had a deeper bench . Maybe Johns jr can do something in the next few weeks.

Yep. Depth is the biggest concern.

Probably part of the reason everyone except Matthews looked gassed against PSU. That game was on two days rest and on the road. When you basically have a six man rotation, you can hit a wall in games like that.

These were all the same things MSU fans were saying after some of their losses.

I have to give kudos to them for being consistent; haven't seen any MSU fans laugh at us for losing this one.

As a Spartan fan, I fully expect us to lose at least one game a year that we have no excuse to lose. This year it was Illinois.....who outplayed, outhustled and out coached us.

PSU was your Illinois.

Shit happens.

I actually think your home loss to IU, esp. after Juwan Morgan (i think?) went out early for them with an injury, was worse than the loss to UI, which was bad, but not THAT bad...
