I get an absolute kick hearing some MSU fans say the Big Ten tournament is just consolation, when I can explicitly remember how much they gloated when they won the title.

It's a big deal, it's a big tournament, and the coaches and players care a shit ton about it. People need to stop pretending otherwise.

You do realize that when you win more games in the tournament, and you beat the 2nd and 8th ranked teams on a neutral site, that it will greatly boost your resume, right?
