Michigan Women’s Basketball

#24 Michigan beats #23 Minnesota on the Road 70-65 Final.
Record improves to 14-5 and 5-3 in conference.
 
Ladies lost to a bad Wisconsin team on the road 82-75. Not a great loss. Michigan is now 14-7 and (5-5)
 
Michigan picks up a nice road win at 16-7 (7-5) Nebraska. Winning
78-60 Final. Michigan improves to 16-7 and (7-5) like Nebraska.
Michigan used a huge 24-7 second quarter to pull away wire to wire.

Frustrating loss at #21 Maryland. Had a 10 point lead in the first half and just pissed it away before halftime. Only up 2 at half but never really had a lead in the second half as they couldn’t get stops.
Lost 85-77. Now 18-8 and 9-6 in conference. Such a frustrating loss.

Girls poor effort on senior night at home. Lost to Iowa
79-66 Final. Final regular season game is at Illinois.
Need to win for 20 wins.
 
Michigan bounces back beats Illinois 78-69 today .
 
Big Ten Tournament has started for the ladies

Michigan improves to 21-9 beating Washington 66-58 in the big ten
Tournament. A 16-2 run to end the third was the difference.
Michigan plays #15 Maryland Friday at 2:20 Pm.

Michigan verses Maryland today.

Up 27-6 after one and 33-9 early 2nd it’s now 36-27.
Terrible second period. Flat out embarrassing. Like the men
They are falling apart under pressure.

Only up 4 at half. 41-37. Have they never seen a press ?

Michigan crushed Maryland in the big ten quarterfinals 98-71 . This was one strange game. Um had a 26-0 run in the first half and were only up 4 at halftime. Maryland had a 31-14 2nd quarter. Um pulled away in the second half.

Lost in the semifinals. Had. 9 point lead and it was 60-60 mid fourth but usc pulled away S um could not handle the press.

Final 82-70
