Michigan

Our offense is just unwatchable lately. Just totally out of control. Constantly leading to unforced turnovers

Drink every time Tillman misses a bunny you’ll be shitfaced by half

I wanna see Loyer fire it up every time he touches the ball when hes in.

Its amazing how many bad shooting teams get hot from 3 against us.

I get Simpson/Jackson sucks at shooting but my god you can?t give the guy 10 feet anyone will pick you apart with that much space

Izzo really needs to bring in a new assistant coach with a strong offensive game background. Watching these dated sets is maddening

There bigs are killing us. Not sure this team has any toughness. We might win the NIT this year.

This team is so mediocre. Sweet 16 is the ceiling. Beyond disappointing

The team isn't good enough. Too many guys that can't be counted on from game to game, especially on the road.

Obviously Langford is the bigger loss but with the loss of Ward this team has zero toughness and no post presence. All anyone has to do is guard the perimeter and this team falls apart. Not to mention getting beat by Simpson and dejulius and brooks is downright embarrassing.

Mcquaid and, I never thought I'd say this, Goins apparently are bigger losses than I would've thought. Players with more talent have stepped into their roles, but those guys played all out when they played and these current guys I don't feel do.

That team last year had an unbreakable will and did all the little things well, and McQuaid and Goins were a huge part of that. There were games where I'd watch and not think they were playing that well but look at the scoreboard at they're up 16. Other games (like the UM games) where they'd seem to be on the ropes at times early but hang in just enough, and then bury the opponent in the second half. Some of the guys in those roles now might have a bit more talent, but not enough to overcome losing those types of intangibles.

And I don't think Cassius and Tillman have been great at times either (if Cassius throws another lob pass off target on a 2 on 1 or has it deflected I might throw something at the TV). But they are also having to carry a really heavy load given that 2 to 3 of the other guys on the court with them are likely to disappear at any given moment.

You are so right about the Winston lobs. I said today in a group text I may put a hole in the TV if he does it one more time, he?s literally about 1 for 25 on them. Also, while they aren?t necessarily lobs, it seems a lot of his passes he?s putting the recipients in bad spots where they?re at risk for plowing a guy over and getting a charge or not catching in stride and getting a travel, fumbling it away, etc.

McQuaid, yes. That is a valid point - the guy was a great defender and fit a role in the offense where sometimes he would shoot the lights out. but I will never say I miss Kenny Goins.

This year may be a foregone conclusion but I don?t think that changes if Goins was still around and he would take minutes away from other guys we need to develop. I would like to see Brown, Hall and Marble all get more minute, but I?m not giving up on Henry. If they all progress and Watts continues to improve, that?s worth way more than another year of Kenny Goins.
