Miguel Cabrera Wins The AL Triple Crown

His 205 hits are also the 6th most in a triple crown season or something like that...

Reminder, Lots of new Miguel Cabrera Triple Crown stories/links have been added to the first post in the thread since the night Miggy accomplished his Incredible, Remarkable, and Historic Season for the Ages.

The triple crown is soemthing I never think about. Whenever someone mentions that so and so is close I always just ignore it because you always know they will falter in 1 of those categories and fail to achieve it.

Well it friggin happened and we all actually had a front row seat to see it. Most of us who post on this board watch every single game. It was an absolute honor to get to see a Tiger accomplish this. And especially someone who has been so good for his entire 10 year career. Miggy's a good dude. Everyone seems to like him. He is always happy and having a good time on the field. And he hits the cover off of the baseball. Probably the best Detroit sports trade ever.

I voted my 10 for the day. I know they list in order of division but it still irks me that Jeter for the NYY is listed first and Dustin Pedroia of the BR is listed 2nd.

And the awards keep coming in!! Congrats to Miguel Cabrera on being named 'Tiger of the Year' by the Detroit Chapter of the BBWAA.
