I haven?t watched it all star game in the number of years, I turned this one on because I was working out and I like to watch sports when I do that, plus I like to torture myself watching JV pitch for a different team.

Is this micing brand new this season?

Not really anything on , so i put it on ...i have seen in the past a player or 2 mic'd up but this year they have a bunch of guys mic'd up . Kinda neat , it's different at least cause the game is usually boring .

Damn I forgot about it.

Thanks Tigers for making baseball unwatchable. if i had remember i would have turned it on. i was watching the knicks get pummeled in a summer league game and then after the game at 0-3 all but 1 knick forgot to shake any hands and the sulked off the court.

Barrett is so bad right now. He can't hit the ocean from 7 feet away.

I didn't watch it (I haven't since I was a kid) but I did check out the box score. There are a lot of great young players out there. Most of them I have never even heard of.

Came across the a story about Max Muncy of the Dodgers. Outright released by Oakland in 2016. I assume the Dodgers signed him to a ML contract. Played one season in the minors, raked and now he's a stud. 35 HRs last year and already 22 this year. It sure would be nice if the Tigers could get lucky like that.

I watched 5 innings and had to go to sleep because of a 0330 wake-up call. I was surprised how enjoyable it was, inspite of the Buck-Smoltz static. I learned some new names I was not familiar with.

I was listening to Colin Cowherd today and he was talking about the game. I guess they had some of the guys mic'd up. He played some of the footage. It was really good. I really think it would add a lot to the game. Unfortunately, I really doubt it would ever happen...players cuss too much

good call. They need to do it again

I kinda wish they would take a flyer on Shelby Miller. It would be at the prorated league minimum. Might be too much $ for CI's blood with all the millions he pissed away with the garbage signings.

Freddie Freeman was mic'd up in his K vs Verlander. It was pretty funny. As a hitter, I feel like as much as they were talking to him it would be super distracting. But also entertaining. I'd love for VMart to be mic's up in his at bat vs Balfour a few years back. Or Guillen vs Weaver.
