Just got a ticket for the game that will be played in San Diego on an aircraft carrier. Magic and Jordan are honorary captains. I think I'll wear my maize and blue rugby shirt and block M hat.

Maybe if you did some time in the Navy, you might have had a chance.

Obama is going to be there, and its James Worthy rather than Jordan as NC's captain.

Just realized Nov 11th happens to be Veterans Day too. I think I've got a shot at being on TV because I'll be wearing the colors/hat of Sparty's main rival.

Sounds awesome.

I understand how some people could feel that way. However, I think this is lame, and I hope Michigan never does anything like this.

To each his own. For the Navy and being an all volunteer force, its good PR. For the schools involved, they get their players a special experience. For San Diego, they get a national audience for what makes the town tick. I'd compare it to the outdoor hockey games we've been seeing the last few years, or UM-MSU hockey at the Joe.

if the ball goes in the ocean, does the Coast Guard have to go get it?
