MSU -7, 6-0 vs 0-6, shouldn't be that close, right? i'm a little worried about the last ditch effort from NW to save their season, get bowl eligible, etc. of course we have the better football team but NW really reminds me for 2012 MSU, losing to good teams in close games in every possible way.

let's go to evanston, get the W, move on and get ready for OSU. win the legends 2 of 3 years, get a trophy for the seniors, etc.

If our OL could move them around, yours can. the only way you lose this is if your coaches don't play conservatively.

a win here locks the division for you, right?

Should be a walkover for MSU. Run, run and run some more.

I think the defense wants to have a statement game. Gave up several big plays to Nebraska, they'll want to shut NW down. I'm seeing a 23-6 win where NW has around 200 yards of total offense.

you would think we roll them but i just have a bad feeling, they played OSU close at home and they're obviously better than their record. they're playing for their season.

also, MN vs Wisc has a lot of significance for MSU. i'm pulling hard for MN in this one, it would push them up in the standings, maybe inside the top 20 ahead of the game in EL next week, improves our profile with another quality win. also, wisconsin is the classic BCS thief, they'll miss the title game to possibly preserve a 10-2 season and slide in against a possible 11-2 MSU if we lose to OSU. this game could be for the orange or sugar bowl for MSU. of course we want the rose but a contingency bowl would be nice

They are definitely better than their record and healthier than they were when Colter got hurt and Mark was re-injured and they got rolled by wisco. They lost to Nebraska on a freak play and if the refs didn't swallow the whistle on that obvious false start they would have beaten michigan too. That said, we should cover easily and we should do it by being extremely conservative (run on every play for all i care). The only way we lose this game is by coughing it up deep in our own territory multiple times.

I know they are 0-6 in the B1G but NU still scares me. Like everyone else said, a lot better than their record shows. A Hail Mary loss, BS call against O$U loss, 3OT loss to Michigan on a miracle FG. Plus we always struggle with them it seems. If we win, it will be under a TD IMO.

I think the defense usually takes a drive to figure out an offense. I don't think Northwestern will score more than 10.
