MSU vs Harvard

Vegas has MSU -7.5, Looking through this years regular season schedule Harvard didn't played a ranked team yet (maybe Cinci today). I did take note that we have both played Columbia and Harvard went to OT once and won. On the other occasion Harvard blew them out by 33! We won at the Bres by 9. I don't put too much stock in that but still something to consider. Harvard wont be a pushover, I assume they will use lots of back door passes, slow it down and shoot when the shot clock is under 5 seconds. Im nervous about this one honestly. Hope the refs let both teams play, if so We win by 12-14. Go Green!

Harvard is good. Some had them ranked in the preseason. They played UConn to the wire at their place and also played Colorado tough on the road before Colorado's best player had gone down with an injury.

We'll have a size advantage. It may be another game where riding Payne is a smart way to go.

I think they're a lot more athletic than your typical ivy league school. They run more dribble drive offense than Princeton. Theyre a legitamate threat, we need to take advantage of our size and depth

They are definitely way more athletic than a typical Ivy League team - more athletic than a whole lot of non-ivys as well. They defended well in the half court and their 4 was tough inside and like I said in the other thread, they beat a 3 seed last year. And, let's not forget, they have the best michigan coach since Bill Frieder. That said, I think this result exposes Cincinnati for the extremely mediocre team they are. As long as we don't have a bad night, this game should be a double digit win.

I still can't believe 41 in 24 mins. I know its Delaware but there are mismatches all throughout the season and tournaments and you never see those kind of stat lines

Ive noticed all year long he not only hits his 3's many of them never touch the rim. When hes hitting from outside there is really nothing anyone can do.

I suppose but I'm almost indifferent. I think the only way we lose to either of these teams is if we beat ourselves.

It's not the least bit surprising that this asshole is a lawyer - it's the one profession where being a dickhead is more valuable than being smart. Well aware that was the intent, which is why I didnt take the bate. Grandfather Northwestern, dad Washington University/Wisconsin and sister Illinois. Were making our way around the B10.

MSU should win this...there is always a chance of a less talented team giving their best effort for an upset but its a small chance, I like MSU -7.5. Yeah, Chief illiniwek did his last dance due to the same circumstances, the "PC" revolution circa 1992.
