OSU has their backs up against the wall, win and they're likely in, lose and they are likely out. That will be a ton of motivation for them but in reality it's not enough, if MSU plays anywhere close to their ability they'll win by 10+.

I love when people bring up how hard it is to beat a team 3 times in a row, as if that really matters. I'd say if you play a team for the 3rd time and you won your first two games by a total of 34 points your chances of winning #3 are about 95%.

I know we'll be motivated but Michigan beating IU should serve as a wakeup call in case we need one

Just don't get why Izzo is so quick to pull Davis, yet a guy like Schilling seem to get a pass with mistakes.

Worst half we played since the Purdue game. Shot 11-31 from the field, 4-14 from 3. Terrible.

Need to attack the basket in the 2nd half. Settling on too many 3's early in the offense. Davis had a decent half for the limited minutes. Time to start cutting the fat on the rotation. Too late in the season to still be playing 11 guys.

2 points in the last 3+ minutes and those were the Valentine FTs. Looks like they've tightened up defensively like I asked for in the other thread.

Team came out with a little more passion this half.

Davis is a physical freak, if he sticks around one more year he could be really special.

We played well for a grand total of about 15 minutes tonight, up big and resting the starters is nice though.

Denzel with a ho hum 19-9-8.

This team may not be the best izzo team I've seen but they're playing the best basketball. They're amazing statistically, 3 1pt losses and almost everything else was a blowout.

I was watching on dvr and didn't post but did anyone else see osu shoot 3 ft's on a 2 shot foul in the first half? Missed the first and made the next two.

I saw the same thing. I wonder if there was a lane violation the first FT.

We have a 7 game win streak in which no one has come closer than 12 and we're winning by an average of 22 a game. Outside of 1 bad half we are blowing teams away. 11-1 in our last 12 and outscoring our opponents by over 20 a game over that stretch.

This is a dominant team, maybe the Big Ten stinks, but we are simply toying with every team we face.

And I think we play best when we are sped up. Not just running, but when we face a pressure defense that forces us to move the ball quickly, really bodes well for the next few weeks of basketball. Ohio State is the best defensive team in the Big Ten save for maybe us and we have embarrassed them 3 games in 18 days.
