The Detroit Lions, in an effort to regain discipline after an offseason marred by arrests, might have lost their swagger on the field, receiver Nate Burleson said Monday.

But Burleson says Detroit regained its bad-boy image -- on the field -- during the team's bye week, and it was displayed during the Lions' comeback against the Eagles on Sunday. Detroit rallied for 17 points in the fourth quarter to stun Philadelphia 26-23 in overtime.

I agree this team hasn't looked as feisty as they have in the past. Hopefully they can bring it back while hopefully cutting down on the stupid mistakes.

Hey if the Pistons could do it, the Lions can too. Bust some heads. Keep it on field though not off-field.

Nate and the rest of the smackers.. less talk and bravado, more wins tell us all about it when you have a winning record k? kewl..

I like badass. I don't like stupid though. If games are won without all the penalties then I'm all for it. Would be nice if he waited till after 1 win to say that the team is back. Hope he's right though.

Yeah, those false starts and encroachments really show just how badass they are.

Every team does that to Philly lol. Prove it in CHI this week and make me a believer.

I like the Dline aggressiveness but Philly Oline does have problems. So does Chicago though so Detroit better take advantage again and continue to make plays if they are going to be aggressive trying to jump the snap. If aggressiveness leads to consistent pressure and 3 turnovers forced every game I'll take it.

And personal fouls are just garbage. Be a badass until you hear a whistle. Then shut up and go to the huddle.
