just checked NBAdraft.net

Dawson moved up to #42 to Utah
Trice is on the list for the first time, #48 to boston

of course this isn't set in stone but this site tends to be more reliable than others. I'd love it if both of them had some kind of career in the NBA

Dawson is so hard to predict, he's improved his shot enough I think to get a look. He's going to play small forward and I have no doubt he can guard most of the 3s in the NBA well, but it's his handles he needs to improve the most. Small forwards are expected to be able to bring the ball up occasionally.

Trice I don't think makes it.

Of the underclassmen. Valentine just doesn't look like a good enough athlete, but he has elite vision and smarts, kind of like Draymond. I think Marvin Clark can develop into an NBA player, he's got the body already, can shoot, and is a much better athlete than I thought.

I don't see trice as a NBA player, not strong enough but some do, i never thought that was possible up until the last week or so. I'm not saying he makes it, just surprised that he might have a chance.

Dawson is an elite level athlete who will make a lot of money playing basketballs somewhere, he can do a few things very, very well so I think he might have a spot in the rotation in the league.

Dawson will get a look with his athleticism and ability to defend multiple positions. It depends on what he does with it. He would need to develop some way to not be a major liability offensively. Whatever that is. It seem unlikely he would after all this time suddenly learn how to become a consistent shooter.

I think Trice's size will work against him. He has shown more athleticsm this year than people thought he had, but I'm not sure it's enough to compensate for being fairly small.

I think Denzel has more of a chance than people think. Not explosive athletically or great driving to the basket, but has the size, handle, and smarts. His shooting has become NBA caliber, but he needs to round out some of the streakiness. He's had games where he was white hot and others where he couldn't hit anything.

Dawson should declare for the NFL draft. It's his best chance at stardom as a pro athlete.

Trice has a spot in the league. I'd see him as a decent backup point. He can create his own shot, which is important, has a decent handle and is a decent shooter. If he had a good shooting coach that could get him to get a little more rotation on his shot......he may even become a great shooter.

Valentine is a D league or overseas guy. I just don't see him being athletic enough to be able to guard a legit NBA player.

Trice reminds me of mark Montgomery - only a little smaller and w/ a better shot. I see him playing in Europe for a bit then taking a shot at coaching, maybe as an assistant at MSU if he gives up on Europe before Izzo retires.
