Vs Okc
Started off great up 26-14 after one, and now the second unit couldn?t score or defend and now the first unit looks like garbage. Getting out hustled on the Boards, and court. Everyone looks awful, and they are. Getting out played badly right now. Everyone looks like crap in the second quarter. Out scored 28-12 in the second quarter and trail 42-38 at halftime. 2nd quarter was garbage. Need to clean up the boards. Coach didn?t look happy in the stands after that second quarter.

Sabin Lee come in and played bad in the 3rd. Pistons defense stinks. I?m a tad disappointed in how they are playing. I thought they could at least beat Okc.Okc 67 Det 57 end if three. Third was close a four point game but Until Lee came in an stunk.

Green had 23 points tonight. Yikes. Cade looks slow to me. .look I like that he is unselfish but sometimes in the
NBA you need to score hopefully he becomes the scorer and guys can catch his passes lol.

Hayes and Cunningham are turnover machines in this game. Hayes missed badly his 2 free throws when Detroit was down 4 at a little over a minute in the game. To many turnovers. Cade has a wide open three to cut it to one and misses Badly with over 30 seconds left. Curious coaching not fouling with over 20+ seconds left. Didn?t really leave much time.

Okc 76 Detroit 72 Final.

Yikes, not good . Only 1 good quarter really. What a awful game.

Okc was 3 for 27 from three and still won because of 20 turnovers.

I just wanted to see a better start. Like Houston got with Green and not 20 team turnovers. Hayes was so out of control the last minute when they had a shot to make a dramatic comeback. Cade needs to be more aggressive
Hopefully those passes will turn into points soon.

Yeah I know but good first impressions would be nice.

No guarantee we're even playoff contenders even if Cade is everything you hope. Hopefully we get back to the days of pre stars joining other stars to win titles.

I doubt that is going to happen.

However, the Bucks did just win a title with only one superstar.

No surprises here on the overreaction on Cade's debut. Especially from people just looking at highlights or the stat lines. If you actually watched the game and you're freaking out, I'm wondering how much basketball you've watched in the past?

People see 5 turnovers and think 'Wow, he can't handle the ball well!" What they don't see is that several of these, at least 3 that I remember, came off the PnR where his teammate (I don't ever want to see Tyler Cook play basketball again) would just piss away the chance and fumble the ball away.

He shot poorly. No doubt. Trae Young and Steph Curry shots sub 35% in their first summer leagues repsectively. It happens. Cade is also making the jump from 1 year of college ball to the NBA, having not played any 5v5 competition since his OSU season ended.

His defense was as advertised. Disrupted lanes and made shooting difficult. He had a couple blocks and steals that I remember. His on ball defense needs work but that was known. He's a big guy, he will need to work on his lateral quickness.

Hayes looked more comfortable even though his shot is still suspect. Bay looked like the real pro on most possessions despite also not having his best night. I would like to see more Garza.

Cade was fine. I think coach made a huge mistake with he and Killian by taking them out so early and leaving them out for wayyyy too long. I feel like they were on the bench for a full 10 game minutes and when they came back, they were out of sync and cold. Not sure on the white guy's name (I'm blanking on it) but he kept jacking up 3 brick after 3 brick and totally disrupting the flow of the team.

Garza looked good on offense but was beaten badly and confused on D all night. That said, he can definitely be a good bench player until his D picks up. He has a really high ceiling.

My only real disappointment with the game was that stew and livers couldn't play. Really want to see my boy Livers get some love.

I did watch the game and Hayes looked decent on defense but That dumb pass in the last minute was just a young player being stupid. Can't miss free throws down 4 with minute left.. Cade looked good on defense he just needs to look for his shot over passing to Cook who couldn't catch anything. We tuned the ball over alot last season. I'm sure they are talking about this. I agree the rotation was stupid like monsters said.. Garza looked decent on offense lost on defense. Hayes and cade had 8 of the 20 turnovers and okc only made 3 threes. They play Houston next think. Okc had less turnovers that is why they won the game.

These games are even less important than pre-season games. They are glorified scrimmages between mostly bench players and guys that aren't going to make the team.

Detroit plays Houston tonight. Cade vs Green. #1 vs #2.

Whoever wins tonight is a future superstar and the other is a bust.

Am I doing it right?
