Great article, Suh has really seemed to mature and has taken another step in his physical development.

Best part of the article, they had to take him out in practice, because they wanted to give the offense a chance to run a play, he was blowing up everything. 2-3 years in for a DT you sometimes see a player start to reach their potential, Suh has HOF potential.

Sorry, didn't notice him specifically that much during the Jets game but did notice a couple of 5+ yard runs to his side. Not sure he was in on those plays. Felt to me like he was doubled up, which is GREAT provided the other guys beat their 1v1s.

Just to be clear, not knocking him, just saying I didn't notice him destroying the Jets OL the way the article described he had done to the Lions OL.

When he wasn't double-teamed, he got some good pressure. Just wasn't able to come up with any sacks.

Our DL played well as a whole that game. The jets QB's were under constant pressure and they drew several penalties.

anytime sanchez and a rookie go 16/20 means the dline didnt do their part imo.

I have to agree with this one. I cringed for every third and long, and was pretty disappointed by the pressure and/or the coverage for those plays that ended up in first downs.

I was more disappointed with the tackling and coverage on 3rd down than the pressure we got. Pressure should've been better, but of those 3 (tackling, coverage, pressure), it's what I'm worried about least.

Its not just all about the DLine. DLine got some pressure, DBs /LBs gotta cover too.

I gave up completely on our lbs already lol.

Secondary I'm hopeful for but you're basically asking delmas to stay on the field and a rookie to step up if they're going to be "good. "

Dline needs to be huge to cover for the above 2. They have the depth and skill to be much better thsn they were last week and will need to be if were going to have any chance at a .500 season or better.

LBS played well with Levy and Tulloch in there. The other won't be on the field in nickel. Plus the whole giving up on someone from a pre-season game is not very smart.

Carey has played better in the regular season. Him and Bentley need to play better I agree with that. But hopefully Delmas can play. Time will tell and at least we have Quin out there.
