Wow these guys are on fire!! They are playing great basketball. That's going to be a very dangerous 8-11 team or wherever they may end up in the tournament. They have all the confidence in the world right now.

You're usually pretty insightful here, but then comments like that just blow my mind. It can be argued that Nebraska has been the best team in the Big Ten in the second half of the schedule.

Edit: despite losing to Nebraska last night, Wisco has been the best team in the B1G since the second half of the conf schedule (1 loss in a meaningless game and road wins at Mich and Iowa). after them, I'd say Michigan has been better than Nebraska. Nebraska has a bunch of wins against nobodies. Since getting their asses kicked by Michigan, they have beaten 2 teams above .500 in conf play - took one at MSU when we were at the height of our struggles (and proved we're not as good as we thought - haven't won back-to-back games since Jan 21), then win a fairly meaningless game against wisco at home - meaningless to wisco, anyway. And they lost to Illinois. Petteway is a solid player but I'm unimpressed by the team as a whole, much like I am with MSU at the moment (for different reasons). the difference in my mind is we have more talent and thus (hopefully) greater potential should we find some heart.

I was just being lazy and I don't consider them to be a real B1G team (I still don't think of PSU as a real B1G team) - it was just easier to write "they stink"
