so once again the NFL creates a rule that screws the Lions. XP miss resulted in Lions loss. had to know that it would screw up the Lions perfect season.

since the rule was only a temporary one, and they managed to screw the lions with it, they shall now return it to the old way...which will likely also screw the Lions someday. it's just the way it is.

so, Same Ol' Lions for 2014...but none of us are really surprised by that, right?

That sucks..I was working on my 19-0 t-shirts.

well 19-0 could still happen, but we all know it would only really be a Lions perfect season if they went 0-4 in preseason...though I was hoping they would go 23-0...put money on it with my bookie even. oh well, gotta go sell the farm tomorrow to pay him off...

then again, they didn't really lose, it was just "bad luck".

am I right? er...is LKP right??? of course, LKP is ALWAYS right!!!

True win...dirt got in eye of kicker
true loss...int didn't count cause it was tipped
true win calvin didn't play
true loss they had more injuries so they win
true win we were winning In the 4th
true loss staffords td didn't count cause it was a true interception

Or, he could have just MADE the extra point, then it wouldn't matter.

Yeah, I guess...but it was just bad luck that the rule still applied this week. If this had been played next week then he would have made it, so really this was a tie and since the other rule that they don't play OT in preseason applies that negates the truth that the Lions would have won in OT, but that's just another way the NFL screwed the Lions out of their True win.

Also, the refs were obviously biased, so that's another True Win.

Guys, after this loss I think we are warmed up for the regular season excuses.

In true Lions style Freese missed at 33 yard XP and then went on later to nail a 56 yarder with ease just to keep us on our toes.
