This is pretty ridiculous.
I don't know if getting performers to pay YOU for the privilege of playing at your event is super cheap and sleazy, or just a "new way of looking at entertainment" (or some bullshit claim like that.)
alternatively, or maybe in addition, the NFL asks that they ?be willing to contribute a portion of their post-Super Bowl tour income to the league.?
previously... if you wanted someone to play at your wedding, bar mitzvah, retirement party, corporate shareholders meeting, or halftime show, you just paid them for their services...
