NFL Prediction Machine - Lions

Is Ebron a nightmare matchup for the refs?

The ref was stunned how much he beat that LB he didn't even throw a flag. that's freddy kruger stuff right there.

Grandy, he's trolling us now. He's someone else that used to post on this board or something. It's getting worse, even for him.

I'll go the other route in predictions then

The Lions will go 14-2

4 wins will be due to significant injury advantages
3 wins will be due to ref favoritism

9 true losses

Wait not grandy. I want to fit in. Lions will go 7-9. Too many turnovers and penalties and bad secondary play.

7-9 again sounds reasonable, provided no significant injuries or bad blown calls from the refs' otherwise it'll prolly be something more like 4-12. I saw very little Saturday to be excited about, looks like they still have all the same weaknesses as last year, lousy backfield, no pass rush, dropped passes up the ying yang etc..

Glad to see they think Tate is the most important offensive player...brings lots of credibility to this site.

I dont agree with them whatsoever on any level....but with that being said if calvin is healthy and gets his and tate has a huge breakout year....our offense should be unstoppable.

Shit, I'm going high on this one. I think we can beat the Giants, Panthers, and Falcons. That is, of course, a relatively healthy team is intact. Stafford or Calvin go down? Boom.

LKP is a true genius.

Unfortunately his record is pure moron, and that's the one that counts.

17th ranked team with about a 16th ranked qb....funny how that works out in the nfl isnt it?

Stafford goes down and Kellen Moore leads the Lions to the playoffs and gets a playoff win.

I have them at 8 wins as well. I don't agree with every game though, but the same number. In saying that, if you can win 8 games, you can can at least win 10. So basically i have them at 8-10 wins.

This team could go 7-9 just as easily as 11-5. I think 9-7 is probable unfortunately. If last night showed anything the defense has a long way to go. That being said they didn't play bad when all of the starters were in there. They still give up way to much room to wrs in my opinion in the secondary. If they can get some of those mistakes under control then they will be a playoff team. If they continue to make stupid mistakes they will be 3rd in the north. The only benefit is the fact that our defense is still the best in the north and our offense is as good as green bay's and chicago's. But we make to many costly mistakes. This team is impossible to judge. Was hoping under caldwell we would be more disciplined but last night looked awfully familiar.

They could also go 4-12. So between 0-16 and 16-0 is my guess..

I know that the flags are going to slow down once the regular season starts up but damn its going to be tough to cover the Chicago and GB receivers. We are going to have to get some real pressure and get it quick to have any chance.
