lol seems like everytime i see him throw a TD pass its his receivers run after the catch....ive been on the we need more explosion out of our passing game tirade!...calvin is our only explosive pass catcher (titus young showing signs however) but you look at teams like new orleans, green bay, new england, giants....they have multiple guys who can take it the distance...we have one..(jahvid was the only other one capable of it)

Stafford through for over 5,000 yards. One of only 4 players to achieve that. Our passing game is explosive enough.

yeah seriously second what motown said.. our offense was not the problem at all (especially the passing game).. staff had a better year than eli

our defense was suspect// held us back

Nate was top 15 in the NFC along with CJ

http://hosted.stats.com/fb/leaders.asp?range=NFC&type=Receiving&rank=231&year=

not talking about YAC..i mean explosive receivers who can take it to the house from anywhere on the field...we don't have much receiver speed it seems..outside of cal..scheffler has the most ypc at 13? lol..i think

So Best when healthy cant take a catch to the house? Or Young? And ever catch Calvin makes can go to the house. You are an idiot.

no i know best can..just don't think he'll be in a lions uni after next season....young? is the possiblity..because of a year with training camp.stafford throwing to him all offseason...and his second year coming up.

perhaps a running game would fix my worries haha..i guess i just worry that if cal ever went down...our offense would be SCREWED...

all im really saying is...would you take our 2-3 option over other top offenses and is it even close to a real decision?...

burleson, pettigrew over

sproles and colston

welker (or gronk) and hernandez

greg jennings (or jordy nelson) and jermicheal finley?...

some of our passing stats are skewed a bit because of how many times we passed the ball
.i think we have some nice guys who can move some chains...but none who can go down the field on a game to game basis..and make plays..(once again titus is still a ? for me whether he can do it because he's a rookie and i'll give him the benefit of the doubt and jahvid i just don't see coming back from concussion..hopefully i'm wrong on that one)

When your #1 is so good, its ok for your 2 and 3 to not be as good.

Calvin, titus, and pett is a good young core of targets

What do you think YAC means, bro?

Titus will be our #2 when Burleson is gone. He can spread the field with his quickness and going over the top speed.

fucking QB threw for 5, 000 yards and 40+Tds , WR was fucking ALL Pro , and we have one of the best young TEs in the NFL and this idiot is complaining....

fuck off...seriously....like someone else in this thread said....OFFENSE is not this teams problem.

I really think the packers have the same problem..

Your defense is the problem.

Same as ours. But we need a RB who can stay healthy.

LOL, we don't have enough explosive players? Calvin, Titus, Best have all run sub 4.4 forties. Burleson is a 4.5 guy, but he's a great athlete with a 42-1/2" vertical. We have very good TEs. If Leshoure can be close to full strength next year and Best is healthy Stafford has the most explosive group of weapons in the NFL. There's a couple ifs in there, but even if they don't go our way we have an explosive offense.

If a couple breaks go our way with health, the Lions offense could be the scariest in the NFL.

i get that if best and mikel come back we sshould be okay..j..lol for god sakes jahvid best wasn't that far off for being second on our team in 20+ yard catches ...he had 5...the most anyone else had on our team besides cal was 7...and jahvid was dead for over half the year...yeah but clearly we have super explosive players across the board..............i know our offense isn't the problem guys..lol im not saying it is...nor do i want to spend big money or a super high pick on an offensive player...(unless we really really have issues with our rb's and the front office knows it0....i'm just shooting for the stars here.....if we could have that good of an offense this year...if we get some LEGIT playmakers like some other teams do...we could be HISTORICALLY special....but yeah just pointing it out there.......we have calvin...and a bunch of solid but not good-great guys.
