O-line Situation

I thought Swanson played pretty well in his first start at center. What killed us in my opinion was when Larry Warford went down with the knee injury. We stopped being able to run the ball effectively when Garret Reynolds replaced him.

Any updates on the Warford injury?

Thoughts on Swanson's start? If Warford is done for the year, does everyone agree that Raiola will be back at center with Swanson at guard?

I didn't pay enough attention to how Cornelius Lucas did at RT. Anyone have any insights regarding that?

Swanson was okay. If I had to guess his PFF grade it would be close to 0. No sacks, no bad snaps. He's a guy who gets in front of people with little power not my favorite prospect. Reynolds and Lucas have negative PFF grades if I am going to keep guessing, Reynolds is worse though.

I was begging for oline help again this year and we got Ebrontosaurus Rex.

Warford there or not Crayola starts. Not going to start a rook over him..

dline going to be more of a situation if suh gets nailed for stepping on arod. I thought it was unintentional personally....but the NFL loves to make examples out of lions....especially Suh. Murray will run for days on us.

Speculation Suh is fined or suspended.

I don't see how he could be suspended for that play. I find it hard to believe that he'd even get fined, although it is the NFL...

Suspension would be too harsh IMO...unfortunately Suh's reputation doesn't help him in this matter.

NFL: "Even in super slow mo you didn't try to get off of him immediately"

Suh: "Wait....but that makes no sense"

NFL: "Youre held to super slo mo standards because its your bigilienth time violating the shield"

Suh: "ok, bigilienth isn't a word and the shield is part of marvels avengers"

NFL: "bigilienth is a word. its how many trees you've hit while driving. Suck it Suh....you touch arod you must pay! 500k and 2 games. now fuck off...that should teach you to mess with the shield."

Caldwell: "I didn't see anything....but from what I couldn't see it didn't look like he did anything"

maybe we should reexamine exactly how Caldwell has helped this team? ANother game full of penalties, ST getting pwned, wasted timeouts on ridiculous challenges, and players stepping on other people. Good thing we "bought in"!

The first step might have been accidental but then he goes back for number 2 and does look like he drives his foot down on Rodgers. Take the homer classes off..it was a dirty play.

Stafford seemed to be having a lot of problems with the heat Swanson was putting on the snaps from the shotgun. He didn't fumble any of them, they were just all over the place.

The more I see it, especially in slow mo, the more I agree with it being intentional. I don't expect to see on the field next Sunday, seriously. Suh and Raiola being gone after this year might be good for how this team is perceived. With that said, I'd still like to see Suh stay.

Took the team to the playoffs. That's all he did...

He has composure, something that's been missing for quite awhile. Not saying it's a great thing ALL the time, but it beats a guy on the sideline throwing tantrums every chance he gets. We go off of what we had before Caldwell, that's all we can do. He's not the best coach we could've went for, but he's a definite improvement as far as getting the team to focus, and play 4 quarters. The 11 wins shows that imo. Lombardi on the other hand....

by barely beating a bunch of scrubs, losing to all the +.500 teams we faced but Miami, getting blown the fuck out by playoff teams NE, ARI and GB, Stafford regression. We will see how much getting to the playoffs does....if its one and done again then ill contend there was much more negative pub than positive since hes been here.
