our former players aren't stupid enough to come right out and declare that they want nothing to do with the coach. All that accomplishes is hurting your progam. i don't think anyone important bad mouthed Michigan or RR until after he was gone.

The thing that penn St needs to understand is with the scandal going on no one really wants to touch this job. I don't really think anyone can win under the currant conditions. I do have issues with the O'Brien hire because if he stays with the Pats if they make it to the super bowl he will not be totally focused on Penn St till after signing day.

Mattison makes almost as much as this guy will at PSU in base. They just released his contract and he makes 950k a year plus shoe deal and TV and radio shows. His incentives are 200k a year max.

That kind of hubris on the part of PSU indicates that they like the incestuous situation that has developed there. Seems to me that the best thing to do is to start fresh. Makes me wonder what the players know about the goings on there and did not reveal.
