Can someone please list all of the things ohio players got in trouble for.

This board won't be able to handle that much information. Even the OSU compliance department cant track that much information.

I'm in an arguement with a bucknut who still says its unfair that they got in trouble for selling things

How far back do you want to go? Just Sweater's last year? His entire career? To the Cooper or Hayes era? Dawn of their program?

Tell your friend that it's more than "selling things" when a Federal Drug Trafficking investigation turns up collateral evidence of NCAA violations and barely acknowledges them in comparison to the more serious issues. Tell the bucknut to explain how former players acknowledge the "selling and trading stuff" has been going on for years and years and years....

Ask how Maurice Clarett was able to so specifically detail who he went to and for what..?

Just a list of things that happened under tressel.

And maybe some things about meyer. Didn't he have like 30 players arrested

LOL! +1

google ohio+state+violations+under+tressel or something like that. someone put together a list. you may have to play around with it, but the legwork has already been done. maybe it was even a wikipedia page (?)

it was not only NCAA issues, but player arrests & charges filed against players while he was there.

anyhow, when you looked at the number of player arrests over the 2001-2010 span, it was quite shocking. I know they liked to throw a couple UM issues back in our face (fab 5, larry harrison, kevin grady's DUI), but MAN, the sheer number of issues they had makes it clear how big of a disparity there was.

How hard to read NCAA rule about selling items received as a athlete

Pretty much right out there

You can't argue with a $-eye. You can only tell them to sit and toss them treats.

If I were in that situation, instead of fighting it, I might use his point to start a new conversation. I mean, if the buckeyes are being treated unfairly, even though their AD was buds with an NCAA bigshot, then there must be a lot of buckeye hate out there. Since they can't beat the SEC, it can't be jealousy, there's not much to be jealous of. Why does everyone hate the buckeyes? Maybe 'cause they deserve it...maybe everyone thinks they're jerks.
