and get a win today, and take home field advantage back home.

i think our goal was to split this series going into detroit, so let's get it done. the team showed fight last night even though they were down 9-1 i like that. if cano hadnt hit that grand slam and lamont didnt send avila home we wouldnt be having this convo

I'd be ecstatic if we could leave NY with a spilt considering Verlander got rained out and Fister lost his appearance. Let's hope our offense throws up a 10 spot today.

after seeing what we did in the 9th inning, and have seen what we did in the regular season, i could easily see us putting in to garcia who our hitters just man handle. the problem with nova is that none of our hitters have faced him before kinda like what the rays did to the rangers with matt moore. weve seen freddy plenty of times and i expect us to put a crooked number on the scoreboard today

Smash Garcia and start the march to the next round today!!!!!!!

no doubt! we lost the first game 8-4 in 2006 and this team is much better. GO TIGERS!!!

We looked like a jv team out there making stupid plays we havent made all year. It seems like they were playing like they new the yankees were the better team. If thats the case the rest of the series than theyre done already. Hopefully they come out to win today.

they looked nerved up, the jeter hit wouldnt have happened if raburn wouldve been in position, the ajax double play was luck, and fister struggled with runners on

Ruburn was covering second base on the hit and run... I hate mudhen as much as the rest of you but that hit was not his fault.

Avila forgets to run on a ball hit into the outfield and gets thrown out at home....bush league.

on that play there, both Raburn and Peralta should have been in tune into what Fister was gonna throw. inside pitch and Raburn covers, outside pitch and Peralta covers. both to blame. imo

I think he should have barreled him, but then again maybe Lamont shouldn't of sent him seeing he had a bad jump.
