Okay, it's almost over.

Lol. Yeah everyone blames obama but that was just bullcrap You can thank Mark Rubio, and his Gop clan that did everything in their power to crush obamacare.

his name is Marco, you racist old fart. And how is the GOP to blame for obamacare rates going up? It's been the law of the land for years now, it's never been defunded or had any parts of it repealed or altered in a material way so how could the GOP be responsible for premiums going up due to his law written by insurance cos and big pharma? I'd love to hear that explanation - are rates going up because of symbolic votes to repeal the law? Or is it just your natural inclination to think everything Dems do is good and when it doesn't work it's because of GOP obstruction?

Again why in American is there anyone withour healthcare? A nation who spends more on military then most other countries combined ? I just don't get it. Nation health care for all would boost American productivity so much.

how exactly? would it boost productivity to European levels? if so, say hello to 10% unemployment again and no change in the labor force participation rate. I've never come across anyone more clueless about economics in my life, and that includes turd.

apologies if this has already been addressed but I couldn't wait to find out...

What do you think will happen to California after they secede and it splits in two, "progressive" California (LA & SF) and "producing" California and producing California controls all the water and other resources? Just take a look at the electoral map of California counties? Do you know anything about it other than it's a lock for the Dems because of the disproportionate urban populations?[/QUOTEg

Man your just stupid.
I guess now that the GOP and trump has control you can kick those undesirable urban people out, and have everything Red.

If you're going to call people stupid, at least try to spell "you're" right and not say stupid things like the GOP and Trump can kick American citizens out of the country - particularly one post after you said they should just leave on their own. I'll just interpret the name calling to mean you had no idea that "producing" california (other than silicon valley and hollywood) is mostly red.

Michigan and Wisconsin were both called for Trimp right around the same time that the Podesta announced that Clinton was going home and wouldn't be appearing last night; right around the same time it was reported that Clinton had called Trump with ostensibly a concession and congratulations message.

That's about when both of those states were called.

Check that I'm looking at the CNN map right now and it's showing both Michigan and Wisconsin still technically not called.

Maybe I'm thinking of Pennsylvania which was also a surprise. Maybe that's the state that put Trump over 270 delegates and called states.

Lol blame everything on Obama when in fact the Gop never once tried to help that plan work. Just stop with your rhetoric you get your wish it will be repealed and 20 to 40 milliion Americans may lose thier healthcare.

It's not rhetoric bob, it's a question. your dodging tactic and blaming others for obama's failures is rhetoric. so i'll ask again, what exactly could they have done differently to make it work better? how could they kept the costs from going up? I would love some specific examples - at least give me something other than blame shifting and name calling.

Yes it Penn. Fox News still haven't called Michigan, Arizona (no idea why not) and NH.

And the fourth from Maine.

Biden wouldn't have had her laundry list of problems and he would have spoken less unkindly about Trump supporters.

It's interesting to wonder what nickname Trump would have given Biden. "Old crazy Joe" comes right to the top of the mind but for Trump to say that about somebody else would've been pretty paradoxical.

paradoxical? whatever happened to "it takes one to know one?"

That's what I mean-that would have been an easy response for Biden to make. Then he could've gone back in time to when they were both in high school and taking Trump out behind the gymnasium and punched him in the nose I guess.

I recall Pennsylvania being the state that pushed him over - but I think the only network to call PA last night was Fox News. I checked MSNBC, NBC and ABC and although they called the election for Trump, PA, WI, AZ and MI were still "tool close to call". I just assumed the other networks made the call based on Clinton's concession.

I was really tired by then and was thinking 'what if Trump is BS'ing us about the Clinton call just trying to steal the thing or what if Clinton's call was a set up'. I was kinda hoping for one of those because I really wanted to see Hillary not accept the outcome just to see how the press (and bob) would handle her hypocrisy.

I'm pretty sure CNN also reported Pennsylvania as going to Trump at right around that time.

I think you must be joking about the Trump camp reporting a BS call from Clinton. I'm pretty sure that type of notification would come from the Clinton camp itself.

Michigan has not been called yet. 96% reporting and only a .03% difference between Trump and Clinton.

It doesn't matter either way, but it's yet to be official.

Really? We've all misspelled on a computer, tablet and/or phone.

I called Bob out for the misuse of the word "your" because he did it while calling me stupid. He doesn't seem to know the difference between the words then and than either.

I don't call people out for spelling or grammar unless they fuck up while calling someone else stupid. That's why I thought it was funny.

They always show up. And they always vote GOP. And if you can't ascribe Trump's victory in part to the weakness of the DEM opponent, you are not seeing the situation as it is. How would Biden have fared against Trump?

I have been saying this for a while. All the 3rd party protest votes are what killed Hillary. If someone who didn't make peoples skin crawl was the democratic nominee, we aren't waking up to this nightmare. Sanders or Biden win easily because they would have carried NC, Ohio, and probably Florida.

Ultimately, it's the dems superdelegates who are to blame for a Trump presidency, they nominated Hillary from the get go, and are likely why Biden stayed out of the race all together.

I didn't watch any CNN coverage - in hindsight, that was a bad move by me since the meltdowns were probably epic. Mostly watched MSNBC, Fox News and NPR and a little NBC and ABC. CNN couldn't have been a worse choice than MSNBC - good thing I didn't have to take sip my beer very time Rachel Maddow expressed concern for the dangers the American muslim population now faces, I probably would have ended up in the emergency room getting my stomach pumped.

I had CNN, Fox, NBC, WaPo, Huff, and BBC websites open the whole time.

Everyone of them scored it differently except WaPo and Huffington which use AP, and were identical.

And I think Fox were just as speechless as CNN was.

you think the 3rd party vote was a repudiation of Trump and not Hillary? If you had more palatable candidates from both major parties I'd expect more of the Johnson vote to go republican.

only had the TV going after the laptop died early and I didn't feel like tracking down the cord. I noticed that they all pretty much had the same scores, although some were quicker to call states than others who would then catch up, until about 1am, then Fox had about 10 pts more for each candidate than the others and nobodies changed until FOX called PA for Trump but none of the others did.

I don't watch TV news except NPR and have to say, I was surprised at how cautious the people at Fox were about Trump's performance and how early (seemingly anyway) the MSNBC and ABC people had written it off and were crying in their beer. And it was hilarious to hear Brian Williams, Eugene Robinson and Rachel Maddow actually grunt, sigh or say "wow" after certain states were called for Trump - they didn't hold back at all, it was as if they thought they had gone to commercial.
