anyone listen to these guys?

have them on the iHeartRadio App --

seems like a tier-2 show for Detroit sports radio..?

I think (hope) they're just filling in. I listened for a few minutes the other day. Brutal....

they're railing on Penn State right now --- calling to have them kicked out of the B10 and to have JoePa resigned, and name removed from the fake rivalry trophy with Sparty.

Art is UM and Rico a Sparty, I think ...

Art is hilarious. I would take him over 95 percent of the clowns on 97.1. Rico is just annoying as Valenti.

I guess 1130 am is done with the Sean, Terp, and Killer show. That station has turned into a laughing stock of what it used to be. They had some good shows. It's all gone bye bye.

yeah, they're not bad. kind of cool to get 'local Detroit' radio out here. they're sort of repeating themselves but that's just afternoon drive time for you.

I just changed to 570 FoxSportsLA when they were going on about how Hoke doesn't wear headphones on the sideline. I hate that completely mindless crap, shtick like the Two Stews go on about.

I will say what others will not: 95% of all talk radio, including sports talk radio, is inane drivel, completely devoid of insight, intelligence, or purpose, other than generating ad revenue for the station.

Ha, true! So much rental car windshield time I've found some decent jazz stations around and sometimes get lucky with Sirius radio. Otherwise, 'local' sports radio is typically just that ... and places like Phoenix have pretty terrible hosts, LA is honestly on a different level. But that's to be expected with friends of Tinsel's producing some of the shows!

they hire Tinsel to do the wacky sound effects?

No Man. My old baseball team friend Sam Betesh is the producer of "The Loose Cannons," feauring Pat O'Brien, with Steve Hartman and Vic "The Brick" Jacobs (the second two are pretty much local LA guys; but you probably know who Pat O'Brien).
