I like these guys. I think Joel Klatt is the best color guy right now and has been the only one to openly blow up the SEC Myth.

He?s right about Replay and just more honest. Go B10!

I like Gus

Klatt said some things on Saturday that really bugged me. I can't remember what they were now, though.

one of them seemed pretty pro-MSU, at least early in the game, and kept going on about their young RB because he was from UD Jesuit

that annoyed me

Being at the game I didn't re-watch it until I got home last night. Klatt is a Boulder kid, played for CU and was on local radio for a while ...much more suited for TV and CFB coverage than morning drive but the two have called a lot of M games this season and I find they're better than Nessler and Danielson with their lips sewn to Nick Saban's ass.

Hah. Spoken like a true BR grad. Our public HS had a fierce baseball rivalry with Rice in the early-mid 70s. I had a good friend on the Rice team, which tempered things some.

I watch quite a few YouTube videos of Klatt. He tears up Cowherd. He always has facts to back up his comments whereas most color guys, and ESPN talking heads, just shoot from the hip with their feelings (ie: Johnathan Vilma).

That was Klatt. Then he pointed out that Gus went there, which was why he brought it up to begin with. I also think he was trying to make the game more interesting because he knew it would be a blowout in short order. He's been a Harbaugh backer from the time Jim returned to Michigan.

when I was in HS, they were the most annoying kids (UD I mean).

CC, DLS, OLSM guys were all normal dudes, so it wasn't a rivalry thing as much

Also, at least my year, we sent a much larger proportion to UM vs. MSU, and I remember the equivalent UD class was the opposite. they would talk trash about their academics in HS, and then they all just went to State! :lmao:

Maybe they were better Catholics though? (but probably not)

Remember Danielson Wikipedia page was ecuted after our floruda game. Now it had this earlier today but gone now:

He has been highly scrutinized in recent years for showing partiality to certain teams during his broadcasts. This coupled with his lack of fan acceptance has earned him the popular hashtag #ShutUpGary
