Thanks man. This looks like a Sparty spoof on M with the song as soundtrack ...I'm trying to find the video of the banquet itself. Turns out a good friend of mine from college, in his capacity as Pres of the UM Club of Detroit (or something like that) actually arranged the whole banquet -- logistics, etc.

So the story was that suddenly, after speaking before the group, Rich Rod cues the DJ to play You Lift Me Up (or whatever) and everyone winds up holding hands and singing along, the whole awkward thing. So my buddy is standing up, holding hands, swaying along and completely in the middle of the thing.

After the song and singing is over, he is asked to step out in the hall by a few rather prominant Alumni players who immediatly ask if that was his idea or if he had any idea that it was going to happen and how awful it was and how embarrassing it was....

Hadn't known that story until a week ago and haven't been able to find the video of the actual event. ML, you were there right?? Do you have it??
