Okay, it has been forever since I followed baseball other than looking at the standings and a score here or there, so I apologize for not knowing this question.
With the current situation, am I correct that:
1. If the Yankees lose and Orioles win, they will have a 1 game playoff to determine who is the Division Winner.
2. The loser of possible game from #1 will then play a 1 game playoff vs today's loser of A's v Rangers.
3. Loser of #2 will be out and winner then moves forward as the #4 seed in the playoffs.
Do I have that correct? So there is potential that either Yankees or Orioles will have to play two consecutive 1 game playoffs??? Just seems crazy to me, but like I said I haven't followed baseball closely in a long time. If that is correct, that's gotta feel like No Man's Land for a manager in terms of figuring out a pitching rotation.
