I still think this whole scandal fizzles without any further (immediate) consequences for OSU. but given what a loose cannon this idiot is, there's a chance it blows up again.

I assume he's intoxicated on some mix of alcohol and pills right now. OSU almost has to get him into rehab, just to ensure they can keep him quiet.

the OSU fanbase is probably worse than others in this regard, but these sorts of scandals are troubling to me insofar as they reveal how many of our fellow Americans would rather shoot the messenger instead of facing up to their heroes' misconduct.

They weren't under a microscope at the time though.

This time, I assume someone will talk to him, and offer a "carrot" in the form of a cash handout or promise of a future job if he keeps his mouth shut and cleans up.

At this point, with him ranting at the media, especially McMurphy, and publicly attacking OSU's president, they HAVE to realize that they're going to be hit with collateral damage if he keeps going off like this all year.

I don't know why someone that was even remotely famous (or infamous) would post pictures of their kids on any format that can be seen by anybody on the internet (even a profile pic).
