Nebraska wins 13-10 with a 25 yard field goal over Northwestern. Man so close to being blocked. I thought there was penetration on the line .

I hate thinking about our offense against anyone. Except Rutgers. But if they can get their shit together on offense I am encouraged about the fact that Don FINALLY tried to defend the crossing routes.

For sure he adjusted brilliantly after quarter number 1 today. Third and 4th down were something of a issue but more so early. 4th and 8 late hurt but we did do better as the game went on on those underneath routes. Still that 3rd and 22 set the tone for the rest of the game. For sure we get a short field if we get a stop.

Ashland just beat Gvsu on a long Hail Mary . Dumb ass Mitchell called timeout and put in at least 1 or 2 offensive wr ... I just heard it on the radio. Gvsu was up 10-0 with 5 minutes left. Ashland scores 2 tds to take a 14-10 lead. Two minutes left and on a 4th and 14 keeps drive alive at Ashland 35 and scores with 48 seconds left. Ashland tries 2 Hail Marys Matt falls time out before completed one. DUMB ! Ashland wins 20-17 on a 52 yard Hail Mary with offensive wr on the field .. pathetic. Just pathetic.
Ferris st is going to kill Gvsu probably, and one more loss there will be no playoffs for Gvsu.

Id say its close. Seeing as I have never saw Patterson overthrow a wide open receiver for a td, by throwing it into another time zone. I'd say your offense is no better. You guys certainly dont have the talent we have, though one day Id like to think we will use ours. But I am sure you will show us what offense is all about come November.

Michigan’s offense just blows right now. I would rather see Milton or McCaffrey the rest of the season and get them experience for next season. Just not sure we win at Psu. Msu at home in which the road team has won the last four :/ Osu will drub us but at least MSU showed there are possibilities in stopping them. Norte Dame is going to be tough. Our offense needs to find it self pretty darn fast. Indiana has playmakers on offense.

What freaking poor defense. Did any Gvsu player go for it? They all stood there like Lions players against AR. Pathetic. Plus like I said that was the second attempt at the Hail Mary, and coach Mitchell Had called a time out to put in 1 or 2 Tall wr from the offense in.

I have always felt Mitchell is a tad overrated. He Inherited a great program. He is 87-25 but only 8-5 in the playoffs never making out if the semifinals. He has missed the playoffs in 3 of his 9 seasons. Something is always off with his teams. Plus he does not have a good record verses Tony Anese at Ferris St. I guess having your father in law as Athletic director at the time was good for Matt Lol. With expanded playoff format they still have a decent shot at making it with 2 losses. Gvsu is struggling on offense. The defense was on the field a lot on the second half and were tired. Teams are catching up to the in talent as they are playing a lot of close games now it seems.
