Passenger Plane Reportedly Shot Down in Ukraine

we're just saying is all... you probably wouldn't be conscious for that 30,000 foot plummet to the earth you mentioned.

I guess I spend far too much time in airplanes not to feel a little extra sensitive about the possibility if being shot out of the sky by some terrorist.

and would you board a plane that plans to fly over Ukraine right now?

Again, what airline comes right out and says "our flight plan will take us over X,Y, & Z countries until after you have boarded?

you have british ariways that says they wont fly over those zones......they do this to let their customers know they wont be putting them into danger.

So again I ask....would you rather board that plane or the one that doesn't tell their customers how they are going to get to their destination? Not to mention almost every flight has a flight plan.....and you DO have the internet....so its not hard to get. So the answer to your question would be all of them?

Just takes one asshole with far less fire power to shoot down a plane here.

we (US) have actually shot down passenger planes of over 300+ people before....that's called a mistake and I agree....a tragedy. I just find that very different than purposely flying over a warzone....again im probably being heartless....but I find it less tragic when that plane gets shot down.

in this case....the asshole might end up being putin. The "good" people living in his country aren't going to tolerate crap like this for very long. They can decide if they want to become a 3rd world country that acts like muslim extremists....or if the want to join the rest of us on earth and try to live our lives with some dignity.

Putin's approval rating is at 90% right now. Granted, it's entirely possible it isn't accurate. Russian Talk (RT) and all news agencies in Russia (state-owned) are blaming the Ukrainians for it right now. Fuck, even one article was basically saying that the separatists are wondering why no one will come and recover the bodies, wreckage, etc. When THE WHOLE REST OF THE WORLD knows that no one is being allowed while everything is being tampered with. The Russian people aren't being allowed information from outside of Russia.

The propaganda machine is in full force over there.

I'm confused...there are Russians who have an ounce of dignity?????
