Jhonny Peralta's name found in records of doctor linked to PED scan.
sportsillustrated

Just read a tweet about Aces as an agent that had most players in the Mitchell Report and to this place. Peralta is with Aces.

It was just a matter of time a Tigers player got caught up in this crap, rose colored glasses makes many of us not think a Tigers player does this.
Maybe, this place had something to do with the 20 pounds he took off. maybe not, damn,
I just hope Cabrera or any others that live or work out down there are never involved.
and hope Peralta can explain this.

Jhonny Peralta is named in the records of Biogenesis wellness clinic director Tony Bosch.
Peralta has released a statement through his attorney, stating that he has "never used performance enhancing drugs. Period. Anybody who says otherwise is lying." He is the 12th player overall and the fifth client of Seth and Sam Levinson's ACES agency to be connected to the clinic records, joining Nelson Cruz, Gio Gonzalez, Jesus Montero and Melky Cabrera. Peralta and Montero both do not appear to be directly tied to PEDs, though.

As someone who i thought was one of the good guys doing it the right way, this is disheartening news. I wasnt so naive to think all the Tigers were clean. Just wouldnt have suspected Jhonny first.

I don't think Jhonny's name is a surprise. He is the stereotypical type player to use PED's...not a great player but solid. It makes sense for him. I just want to remain naive and hopeful enough that Miggy's name never shows up on one of these lists....just give us that.

plus 1.

The only other Tiger currently represented by the Levinson Bros. (ACES) is Joaquin Benoit.
from what I could find.

I don't think any of us would be shocked by Benoit. It's a just scary because so many of these Latino players hang out in Florida in the off season.

I would not jump to conclusions yet, if you read carefully:

I'd focus on the bold and underlined parts until an accusation is made.

I know where you are coming from with that. But i find it hard to believe that some MLB players went there for PEDs and the others didn't have anything to do with PEDs.

Usually when you see PED use you can say "oh yeah no wonder he's hitting well". But Jhonny P? He sucked so he either didn't do it or did it wrong.

While the clinic was involved in PED's, I'm sure it also had some legitimate operations.

I'm with you guys on the Cabrera thing. It would be devastating if his name came up on one of these lists. Considering he's on pace to be one of the five best players of all time and a Tiger legend ala Kaline. Then we'd have to hear people diminish his accomplishments for the rest of time. I couldn't handle it, please Miggy don't ever slip up! Partying is one thing but people care more about numbers and PED's in baseball than any other sport and it would never be lived down

He's not on pace to be a top five player of all time.

He could go down as a top 10 hitter of all time but top 5 player is highly unlikely.

Top 5 players is just not gonna happen.

Not a chance, he isn't a top 5 hitter of all time, and doesn't play elite defense.
