Petti

I love this description, "Pettigrew is a plodding, catch-and-fall guy.."

Pettigrew drops the ball even when he manages to secure a good catch....

We should get a nice compensatory pick from this right?!? Well not this year next but should at least be a 3rd right?

Depends on how much he makes and how much he plays..BUT I doubt we get anything better than a 4th.

I'm thinking the addition of Tate, offsets the loss of pettigrew. I would expect no comp pick.

click the link i posted above,..... Pettigrew is a lion.

Good deal for both. Lions didn't overpay.

Hope he can hold on to the ball this year.

Don't actually hate this as much as I initially thought. He didn't break the bank at least.

Glad to have him back. Has added a lot of value to the running game and showed improved concentration last season. Also it was a very affordable deal.

now they have a pretty decent recieving corp with Pettigrew, FAuria, CJ, Tate and throw in Bush and bell, durham as well

yup, Lions love them some Pettigrew. Dude has freakish talent but never has really translated on the field consistently. I was hoping to start a new chapter, oh well, typical Lions.

2.25M cap hit for Pettigrew this year.

Should put the cap just over 2M now

the known with Pettigrew must have been a better factor than the unknown without him.

actually a great deal, i thought he was going to command a lot more than that...

Well, I am not really a favor of this deal.

All of the things said about Droptimus Prime on this board the last few days were correct. My favorite was the Rotoworld re-post about him being a "Catch and fall guy".

At $4M per year, I'd would rather he was a Jet. I don't believe in the myth of his great blocking ability, and without that, he's an inferior TE.

Bad signing in my book, it was time to let him walk and make someone elses QB look bad.
