Buh-bye Wilson, as out of all the players that the Tigers acquired during last season, he was the one who stunk it up the most @ the plate when it really mattered during the postseason.

So it may be Inge/Kelly or Inge/? platooning @ 3B next season. Just hope that the check-swing King Kringe can somehow maintain a BA that is a bit north of .200, but not counting on it.

Still, there is a lot of the off-season to go, and we will see IF the Tigers brass "tweaks" their infield, which is lacking and @ 2B and 3B, Hopefully they can at least address 2B with a LH or SH who is above average on offense and defense. Dr. Shinebox/Mr. Mudhen and Don Freaking Kelly platooning at those positions would certainly ensure more black holes in many of Leyland's lineups and lots of potential for truly horrid performances defensively all over the field as the 25 man roster looks right now.

One of Leyland's worst-case scenario Sunday afternoons in June on the road @ NL team lineup that includes, say Jackson leading off and in CF, Raburn @ 2B, Young in LF, Boesch in RF, Santiago SS, Kelly 1B, Inge 3B and Lard C, would make me want to fucking hurl.

Inge better hit more than slightly past .200. He needs to hit .260ish with 20 HR and K 100 times. And honestly that still sucks. So we're hoping Inge goes from complete and utter crap to just mid crap? Yeah...
