Portable TV reception inside Stadium

Anyone ever tried to use a newer portable TV to pick up over the air TV inside the stadium? I just picked up a pretty swanky portable tv for this saturday against notre dame, however, If I remember correctly I tried it a couple years back and the reception was shit.

Just curious if anyone has experience with this. I figure since the game will be broadcast over ABC, I should at least be able to pick that up in A2.

Thanks in advance

(oh and please refrain from any snarky comments about why the eff are you watching tv while you are sitting in the damn stadium - I want the TV to be able to see replays)

Can't say I have - and in fact - am surprised that's not something on the banned list. I know the cell phone reception is good inside the stadium (although you can never connect to anything) so who knows how the TV signal is...especially since they just switched to digital only signals.

I don't see why they would ban it - its not a video recording device, it is mostly akin to a radio; namely an item which aids the patrons in their ability to enjoy the game, and seeing as we already paid for our ticket inside the stadium, I don't see how they can argue that we are stealing revenue from them.

The quality on the one I just picked up is insanely good http://www.amazon.com/VIZIO-VMB070-Inch-Razor-Portable/dp/B00462RU6A- the OTA channels around columbus are HD, and it looks awesome. Very nice to see the replays on. PLus, if you have shitty seats, it really helps to see the whole play.
