Sadly it looks like Robbie?s fly out blast yesterday would been a homer in every park but Kaufman (Thanks Sggatecl). Looks like Miggy will have 6 games to get the milestone of 3000 hits at home next week. Three with The Yankees and 3 with Colorado.

Prior to today?s game, the Tigers have recalled INF/OF Willi Castro from Triple A Toledo.

confusing..make no mistake..Hinch is in charge of the roster..yet the move when you have a terrible defensive SS is to recall an even worse defensive SS.

you're right. It makes no sense when they both had the day off on Monday.

I thought it might have to do with one or both teams agreeing not to play the next day.

Tigers also have May 2nd off so they weren't playing the maximum number of consecutive games before a day off.

and the royals also have days off in the first 2 weeks of May.

Maybe they thought it was better in the middle of the Summer.
