I don't know this pool very well.

Cam Cameron at LSU has a history with the program, right?

DeBord is currently unemployed...

Scott Loeffler is OC & QBC for VaTech.

lol at Hoke firing Borges - it won't happen this year. The problem we have again is that we've allowed a coach to bring along his friends as coordinators and because of that they have a personal attachment to them and won't fire them when they need to. Hoke is going to clinch on to Borges and his sinking ship and ultimately Hoke is going to fail here because of it.

Hoke saying those 3 running plays were good calls just shows he has no clue what so ever.
Hoke will not fire Borges..

What about Kathleen Sebelius?

She's likely gonna be lookin' for a new gig soon, and a lot of people are saying her latest work has been pretty offensive.

It is possible that Borges coincidentally finds a job as an NFL coordinator somewhere. Lloyd set a few of his coaches that needed to be fired up with good gigs like this in order for them to leave with dignity.

Brandon will put pressure on
He does not like what he sees and he isn't a bill Martin

As part of his review of a program all, personnel are included

Preach brotha, preach!

I'd rather have a corn stalk with a headset on as our OC for the rest of this season. Borges is so awful.

If this isn't a solid indicator that Borges must go I don't know what is...

“Whatever formation they came out in, we knew what they were going to throw at us,” Nebraska sophomore defensive end Randy Gregory, who had three sacks, told Omaha.com.

Jason Ankrah, a Nebraska defensive end, also told the newspaper the Cornhuskers’ defense was prepared.

“We knew what they were going to do right before they did it,” he said.

A week after registering minus-48 yards against Michigan State’s top-ranked defense, the Wolverines had minus-21 yards against the Cornhuskers

Against a Nebraska team that entered the game ranked eighth in the Big Ten in total defense (yielding an average 399.9 yards a game) and ninth in rushing defense (allowing 182.6 yards), Michigan finished with 175 total yards.

Wow... That's ridiculous... Borges should fire himself...

I wonder if he hasn't already been doing that, and it's shown in the way Hoke has been more irritable at press conferences.

it is a tough position to be in; he may already have resolved to can Borges himself at this point, but there are still 3 more games to play + a bowl game, and he's hoping to finish the season strong.

it's debatable, whether Borges is able to contribute to that at this point... though I think after the Nebraska game, we'd almost be better off with no OC/QBC if the alternative is between that and Al Borges.

(see b311j's post below)

that game was an abomination... and pretty much confirms what was suspected in the PennSt game: our opponents have us completely figured out.

like I said above, I think we'd be better off without Borges at this point.

promote Fred Jackson to "interim OC" and let him call running plays and screens to Toussaint for the entire rest of the season, and we could only improve.

These coaches don't live in a bubble. Borges has to know he is on the HOT seat. One would think that he would a)gameplan to not lose his job or, b)show what he can do to open the eyes of potential hiring programs. Saturday I saw neither. I agree, throw Freddie J in there. If not him then someone....anyone. Hell, I almost would be willing to put DeBord in there right now. But I am not sure I ever want to see Shitz on the field again. He had a terrible injury. Its a great story that he has been able to come back from that. BUT, he has not looked anything like the Fitz of old since that injury. His vision seems to be gone. He has gotten softer and seems to go down on initial contact almost everytime. If we are going throw our hands up and say the season is shot then by all means leave him in. If we want to try to win a few of these last games then he needs to be benched. Green may not look like the spectacular 5 star back we had hoped he would just yet, at least when he gets hit he pushes forward for 3 or 4 yards.

I don't understand how De'Veon Smith only has 7 carries and Thomas Rawls has 3 carries this season. What has Fitz done to keep these guys strapped to the bench?

It was reported during the MSU post game conference that " De'Veon Smith was removed from the travel squad for vague reasons". It sounds like he may have done something to get into Hoke's doghouse. Not a clue what has happened to Rawls.

I know it was late in a blowout, and I've said this before, but of all the running backs in the CMU game, Rawls looked like the best.

then again, late in the game, CMU was already toast and our OL was actually opening holes to run through.
