I'll say Monday at 2:37.

Ever think you'd miss Akers?

I didn't either.

Has this shit ever happened before? I mean in the extreme way it's happening. I have been watching football for 30+ years and i can't remember it ever being this bad. For any team!!
How do you not have a kicker? How is this possible? lol

Lions.... Just typical Mayhew cant find a good kicker.. I mean how hard can that be?
A damn kicker... I really is funny... This shit only happens to the lions...

Ravens
63 yarder to win
right don the Middle.

Bills
58 yarder to win
right down the middle...

Lions
3 missed kicks :/

Henery has to be gone today, with Prater or somebody else with a pulse and a leg replacing him. I've never seen anything like this. Akers, Frees, and Henery have all been horrible. It really shows you how blessed we got having Murray from '80-'91, then Hanson from '92-'12.

I've never seen anything like this at the NFL level.

I mean, 1-9 from 40+....... I honestly think I could hit 1-9.....no BS.

Where do we go from here? Prater seems to be the logical move. Kickalicious? Akers? Feely?

I thought, like most of us, that the Freese pick was going to solve the K problem for years.

Havrd Rugland is still a free agent, and the Lion still can't make a field goal.

Youtube has failed us yet again.

The curse of Kickalicious? This must be Loki's doing!

I was watching the Chargers and Jets and the Chargers' Nick Novak has made like 30 straight FGs. Must be nice...

Tom Mazaway (spelling?) on 105.1 said a couple of his guys saw Prater getting off a plane in Detroit, for what it's worth.

Back then the Lions (mostly) didn't have a decent O or D, so those guys were the ones who carried the team and were automatic.

Now they have tons of "weapons" on O and the D is looking solid this year...but the Ks are killing them.

Is it too much to ask to have ONE year where the O, D, and ST are solid???

Yes, yes it is. :(

Nice, no way he leaves detroit unless he's drunk during his try out. Lions set to get their version of Janikowski? I like it, sign that drunk fuck!!

Prater arrived at the Lions facility and the coaches put him through a workout. He was breathing and had a heartbeat. Welcome to the team!!! Now go miss a game winning FG for us!!!!! WOOHOOOOO!!!!

??? they want him to MAKE FGs????? since when was that important?

Seems like it was pretty important for 2 decades before this year.

Not sure the Lions are the best team for a known drunk.

if by "this year" you are referring to the preceding 12 months, sure, i'll buy that. akers sure didn't make it seem very important last season.

Good god, I thought Hanson was a Lion last year until you mentioned akers. My bad

well all that heavy drinking after what Akers did last year will result in some memory loss. just be thankful yours was to forget Akers altogether!!!
