Disappointing finish but otherwise good first drive, O-line good on pass protection, sketchy on run blocking

And there's the DanO we all know. Stay healthy, #9.

Good god, Orlovsky cant even look decent in the preseason.

Stafford good other than pass to riddick. Cole whiffed on dunlap. Jones and tate look great. Run blocking bad.

D rebounded nicely after first drive

Haven't been able to get into football and haven't watched any pre season action at all yet, lions going to be any good this year?

Going to the game next Saturday in Baltimore !! Bout the only benefit's of living in freaking Delaware haha . At least the 3rd game is usually the longest the starters play .

Lions should play at baltimore regular season next year

Backups were bad today except washington

Glad it was a just a tune up preseason game because we look real bad,

Some good, some bad.......

I refuse to put in too much stock in preseason games. You can usually tell who belongs and who doesn't. Preseason is for cleaning up messes and getting your game timing down.

The only concern I have going into the season so far is Decker. Stafford and the WRs are who they are, they should be middle of the pack or better. The defense should be stout against the run and (if Levy is actually healthy), top 10 against the pass. Our running game and Stafford's health are going to depend on the line, which has been wildly inconsistent so far. 4 of those guys have the experience to be fine, but Decker really needs to settle down and make adjustments before he takes on fully motivated rushers and defensive coordinators that are going to single out and attack him with multiple looks.

Everyone talked about how Deker at LT upgraded 2 positions(LTand RT). So far it looks like Reiff is looking really good at RT but Deker has had some struggles at LT. Hopefully he can straighten things out otherwise I would not be surprised to see Reiff moved back to LT for the year

Talent wise upgrade. Experience wise downgrade. Decker did better in pass pro week2. Lions have moved the ball. Lions starters on d forced three three and outs out of four drives. Levy, ebron, abdullah yet to play. Game planning yet to come. Cant wait

Graham Glasgow - C - Lions
MLive's Kyle Meinke said third-round C Graham Glasgow was "closing on" Travis Swanson before injuring his leg.
Unfortunately, Glasgow suffered a leg injury which required him to wear a walking boot during practice this week. Coach Jim Caldwell refused to divulge details, but it looks like the rookie could be out a while. Even so, it is clear he is improving, and it would not be surprising if he supplanted Swanson in the starting lineup soon after he gets healthy.

I agree with this. People get too excited about preseason surprises and failures.

Decker is learning. I still don't think he's going to be more than an average LT in the NFL and I still think we just replaced Reiff with......well........another Reiff.....but I am not going to jump off the bridge because of a few preseason reps. He has looked ok so far.

Everyoneneedsasmil is right though......he is going to get tested early and OFTEN once the season begins. Multiple looks and blitz schemes. Overload blitzes to his side. Speed rushers galore! We should know what we have quickly when it comes to Decker. I think that's one of the reasone we'll keep a blocking TE over someone like Cole Wick. We'll need someone that can help Decker keep #9 upright.

That actually really sucks. I've never been a fan of Swanson to begin with (and he's mostly lived up to my scorn). I don't think Glasgow is a star or Warford-esque rookie, but I think the sooner we move on from Swanson, the better.

As for Decker, I didn't really factor in a blocking TE that much. Keeping an extra blocker early in the season is going to make a lot of sense. It would really hurt the versatility of the offense, but keeping Stafford upright is going to be more important than an extra target.

I love that is week 3 of the pre season and our coaches have yet to game plan ;D

Decker worries me a bit, but that comes with being a rookie LT. Gotta ask yourself, who's the better option? Reiff or Decker?? We all watched Reiff for a few years now. Time for change lol.
I think with the 3 WRs we have, they can be one of the best trio in the league. The talent is there.
That defense needs to stay healthy across the board. That's key. Two words - Antwionne Williams ;)
