Preseason Game 3: Jaguars @ Lions

Too bad about Houston. That injury killed him last year. He's a borderline #1 when healthy. He's good, more than solid #2.

Can anyone explain to me other than we are the LIONS why the Winn fumble was considered a fumble but the Van Noy strip fumble in the previous game was not

I thought the Van Noy call was an incomplete pass. No?

A team he played for 3 years and gave him a good second chance in 2010. A team he excelled for in 2011 and 2012. Yes.

Or they told hi is agent they were going to offer him peanuts cause thats what hes worth.....so he chose detroit who overpaid him to be shitty.

You don't know the offer. New England sniffing around is a very good thing. Houston did well 2011/2012. It's a fact.

It was but seemed like he had as much control as Winn did on the play. Seemed like the ball was moving in Winn's hands as he was trying to make the catch

Yeah, it looked pretty close. For sure I thought Van Noy stripped that guy of the ball though.

Because New England has had such a good track record with CBs?

They may have only offered a low salary and a chance to compete for a spot. New England kinda sucks at free agency and drafting. Overall their talent evaluation is sub par.

Houston,Talib,Revis, Browner. And Houston spurned them to go back to the team he loved. And then got hurt twice unfortunately.

And why wouldn't he love them? Were the only fools that keep paying him because Mayhew kept blowing draft picks on mid round garbage.

Since people like to make up things on this board like hughes

Patriots and Dolphins both offered him 10 million more per year. He spurned them and gave the Lions a home town discount. Then got hurt twice. Bummer
